Transportation Options

As part of our Earth Day Event, we would like to encourage you to consider sustainable forms of transportation as you travel to Furman University's 2013 Earth Day Festival.

Greenlink

Greenlink provides public bus transportation with various routes to Furman. On Saturdays buses run Route 3 from downtown Greenville every hour from 8:30am – 5:30pm. The last bus returning to downtown leaves Furman at 5:45pm. For more information on routes, times, and fares, please visit http://www.greenvillesc.gov/RideGreenlink/forms/GreenlinkRoute3.pdf

The Shuttle will also be providing transportation around Furman's campus throughout the event. Be sure the catch a ride on the Greenlink!

Swamp Rabbit Trail
The Swamp Rabbit is an 18-mile trail that extends from downtown Greenville to Travelers Rest, SC with nearly two-miles running along the back of Furman’s campus. Whether you love to jog, bike, or rollerblade, we would like to encourage you to utilize this sustainable avenue to Furman University. For more information, please visit http://greenvillerec.com/swamprabbit.

Carpooling
Sharing rides is a great way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Grab some friends and pack cars to help consider the impacts of auto emissions on the environment.
